The event brought together program chairs and faculty members from academic departments to strengthen curriculum design and implementation strategies aligned with outcome-based education (OBE) principles and CQI frameworks.
The workshop was graced by esteemed resource speaker Dr. Sarah O. Namoco, Professor IV from the University of Science and Technology of Southern PhilippinesโCagayan de Oro Campus. She delivered comprehensive sessions on the principles and applications of CQI, curriculum design enhancement, and program assessment and evaluation models. Her expertise provided valuable guidance in integrating a culture of quality and accountability into curriculum planning and delivery.
The CID team, led by Dr. Mary Cris J. Go, facilitated key sessions on formulating Program Educational Objectives (PEOs), curriculum mapping, and aligning course outcomes with institutional goals and national standards. These sessions allowed participants to collaboratively revisit and refine their program offerings to ensure relevance, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.

She emphasized that a strong curriculum foundation is integral to producing globally competitive graduates and achieving NBSCโs vision as a transformative higher education institution.
The activity concluded with a commitment among faculty and administrators to institutionalize CQI as a dynamic and cyclical process, ensuring that NBSCโs curriculum remains innovative, industry-responsive, and learner-centered.
Through initiatives like this, NBSC continues to empower its academic community to lead in curriculum innovation and uphold the highest standards in teaching and learning.
The CID extends its immense gratitude to Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, SUC President, for the support and guidance in the conduct of the activity.
